Climate Action Plan

In collaboration with Sonoma County's Regional Climate Authority (RCPA), the City of Healdsburg, along with the other eight incorporated jurisdictions of Sonoma County, as well as the County of Sonoma itself, have created and are proposing to adopt Climate Action 2020: Community Climate Action Plan (CAP) in order to implement measures to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adapt to climate change. The proposed CAP would include both regional measures (to be implemented by regional agencies with local government support) and local measures (to be implemented by local governments) to achieve target GHG reductions.
The draft Climate Action Plan has been released for public comment and review. It can be found on the RCPA's website here:
In addition, Sonoma County Regional Climate Protection Authority (RCPA), acting as lead agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Climate Action 2020: Community Climate Action Plan.
