Description:         DR 2019-02

 

Project

Description:        Major Design Review for a new 4-story, 16 guest room hotel with commercial space and a restaurant on the ground floor. The project proposes valet only parking and 34 onsite parking spaces with access via a drive aisle off Healdsburg Avenue.  The project includes demolition of all existing buildings on site.

Environmental 

Determination:  The project is exempt from environmental review pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15332 (exemption for infill development projects) because [action] (a) is consistent with the applicable general plan designation and all applicable general plan policies as well as with applicable zoning designation and regulations; (b) occurs within city limits on a project site of no more than five acres substantially surrounded by urban uses; (c) has no value, as habitat for endangered, rare or threatened species; (d) would not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality; and (e) can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services.
