CLIMATE MOBILIZATION STRATEGY

DRAFT MEASURE AND ACTION OPTIONS

[Español abajo] The City is developing a Climate Mobilization Strategy to guide future efforts to confront climate change. The strategy will focus on identifying key measures and actions that will be most impactful in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, while also being community driven, feasible, and equitable. 

We are excited to share a draft list of preliminary measures and actions for consideration at the Tuesday, June 20, 2023 City Council meeting, which begins at 6 p.m.

Please join us, tune in, or let us know your comments on the draft list. Please also watch for an invitation to an in-person Public Workshop/Community Open House and online survey this summer. We anticipate presenting the Climate Mobilization Strategy to Council in September 2023.

MEDIDAS Y ACCIONES

La Ciudad está desarrollando una Estrategia de Movilización Climática para guiar los esfuerzos futuros para enfrentar el cambio climático. La estrategia se centrará en identificar medidas y acciones clave que tendrán un mayor impacto en la reducción de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI), al mismo tiempo que serán impulsadas por la comunidad, factibles y equitativas. 

Estamos emocionados de compartir una lista preliminar de medidas y acciones preliminares para la consideración en la reunión del Concejo Municipal del martes 20 de junio de 2023, que comienza a las 6 p.m.
