[ARCHIVED] National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch

A Map of the Flash Flood Area

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the Kincade Fire burn area and locations downstream in northern Sonoma County.

A strong cold front will move north to south today (Tuesday - 11/26) ushering in colder temperatures, wind and rain. This weather system has caused the National Weather Service in San Francisco to issue the Flash Flood Watch. The Flash Flood Watch will be in effect from 2 PM PST this afternoon through 10 PM PST this evening. Moderate to briefly heavy rain rates are expected this evening as a cold front passes through the North Bay.

Again, the primary area of concern is the Kincade Fire burn area as well as locations downstream in northern Sonoma County. Information related to the Flash Flood Watch can be found via the following link: https://inws.ncep.noaa.gov/a/a.php?i=40307887
